Story Time for Pre-Schoolers

Take the little one in your life to the Library’s Story Time for pre-schoolers, which is every Tuesday and Wednesday. Caregivers must be in attendance and are welcome to participate with the children they accompany — that makes it a pleasurable experience for all!

5th Grade Book Club

Led by Pelhamite Margo Hastings, the May meeting of the 5th Grade Book Club will be discussing Artemis Fowl by Eoin Colfer. Kids can pick up books at the circulation desk to read before the club meets. Registration is requested, but walk-ins are welcome. Please call 914-738-1234. Snacks provided!

Have Fun with the Lego Club!

Lego lovers of all ages are invited to come to the Library’s Lego Club. You’ll get to use your imagination to build unique Lego models to be displayed at the library! The library has plenty of Legos, but donations will always be happily accepted. Registration is encouraged but walk-ins are allowed. Please call the Library at (914) 738-1234.

Knit Happens: At the Library

Love to knit? Want to learn? Gather your needles and yarn and join us every Monday night for an informal adult needlework group from 6:30 – 8:45 p.m. Knitters of all abilities are welcome, but beginners planning to attend should call Librarian Augusta Turner at (914) 738-1234 beforehand to confirm an instructor will be available that night.

Baby Story Time

This edition of Story Time is for babies up to two years. Programs like this are an essential part of a child’s early literacy. Parents/caregivers must participate in Baby Story Time, preferably with the child on his or her lap. No talking or phones.
