Need Help Picking Your Next Book? Try NoveList Online

The library may be closed, but there is a great online book recommendation database that readers can access from home using their library card call NovelList. Users can search for books using different appeal terms, or can browse through different genres, or find lists of books that have won particular awards. If you have no idea where to start in your search, simply find the entry for the last book you liked, and then click on title or author read-alikes to get recommendations for books or authors with similar qualities. NoveList also aggregates reviews for each title so you can see how the book was received by critics. When accessing NoveList, you will need to know your library card number (called a Patron ID number on the login) as well as your password which is usually the last four digits of the phone number on your library card account. NoveList Plus has both adult as well as children’s titles.

NoveList K-8 Plus is limited to books for Grades K-8.
