Dungeons & Dragons

Teens are invited to come by the Library every Thursday to play this classic game. The first fantasy role-playing game, Dungeon & Dragons is a world where players are the characters in an ongoing story. According to the Dungeons & Dragons website, “The core of D&D is storytelling. You and your friends tell a story together, guiding your heroes through quests for treasure, battles with deadly foes, daring rescues, courtly intrigue, and much more.” Registration is not required.
Homework and Tech Help

Held during the school year when school is in session, for homework this is a drop-in program for children in grades K – 6.Make sure to bring your textbooks and other materials. Additionally, anyone can drop in and get tech help with their devices!
After-Dark Book Club: On Canaan's Side by Sebastian Barry

On Canaan’s Side is a novel composed of journal entries by an 89-year-old Irish émigré, Lilly Bere, who begins writing as a way to cope with the loss of her grandson, Bill, to suicide. In recalling her life, Lilly details the forces that brought her and her husband to the United States – the fact that her husband, who fought for the British, was viewed as a traitor by the IRA.
