Crafty Adults

Artist and Pelham resident Sara Mallach leads this group in craft creations anyone can do. This month, we will creating Pure Vida-style bracelets. (If you don’t know what those are, ask a teenager.) No previous experience required! Ages 16 and up. This event is supported by the Friends of the Town of Pelham Library.

Middle Grade Author Visit: Ann Searle Horowitz's "Trident"
Town of Pelham Public Library, Pelham NY

Athletes and fantasy lovers alike will enjoy Pelham author and swim coach Ann Searle Horowitz’s new book for readers 8-12. In Trident, 12-year old swimmer Richard Tomlin’s dream to qualify for the Junior Olympics is derailed when his new swim goggles transport him to the Lost City of Atlantic in the middle of a swim meet. Come meet author Ann Searle Horowitz as she talks about Trident and the powerful intersection of stories and visualization as tools for success in sports and life. Books will be available for purchase at the library. All ages welcome!

A free and fun class for elementary schoolers where children learn the basics using Scratch (a block-based programming language,) Python and other programming software. Have Fun with the Lego Club!

Lego lovers of all ages are invited to come to the Library’s Lego Club. You’ll get to use your imagination to build unique Lego models to be displayed at the library! Chess for Kids Age 5 and Up

Baby Story Time

This edition of Story Time is for babies up to two years. Programs like this are an essential part of a child’s early literacy. Parents/caregivers must participate in Baby Story Time, preferably with the child on his or her lap. No talking or phones.
