STEM Story Time by Pelham High School Student: Slime Edition

When

Oct 04
11:00 am -
12:00 pm

Join us for a special STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) Story Time and craft! This week, as part of “Pelham Ignites the Elements,” we will be learning about the chemistry behind slime, and then make some slime of our own.

This program is for kids ages 5 and up. Registration is not required, but please arrive on time: first come, first served.

Pelham Ignites the Elements is a year-long, community-wide celebration of STEM inspired by The Disappearing Spoon by Sam Kean. Centered on the wonders of chemistry, this initiative explores how the elements of the periodic table shape our world and connect to every discipline—from science and technology to art, music, and history. Through engaging events, hands-on activities, and partnerships with local organizations, Pelham students and community members will discover the power of STEM to inspire curiosity, creativity, and lifelong learning.
