SUMMARY:Eclipse Viewing Party and NASA Live Stream
DESCRIPTION:On April 8\, 2024\, a total solar eclipse will travel through t
 he contiguous United States. A total solar eclipse happens when the Moon p
 asses between the Sun and Earth\, completely blocking the face of the Sun.
 \n\nWeather permitting\, we’ll be able to view at least a partial solar 
 eclipse from the Library’s very own front yard! This phenomenon won’t 
 be viewable again until summer of 2044.\n\nNot the outdoorsy type? Watch N
 ASA’s live stream in our program room (starting early at 1pm) and learn 
 more about the eclipse.\n\nPlus\, join us for eclipse crafts: draw your ow
 n eclipse\, color in animals wearing eclipse glasses\, and use an Oreo to 
 make your own edible eclipse. This program is for all ages and no registra
 tion is necessary.\n\nEclipse Glasses will be available for Pelham cardhol
 ders at the Library starting on Monday\, April 1st while supplies last. Li
 mit of 2 per household please.\n
