5 Towns, One Book: Racial Healing with “The Sum of Us” by Heather McGhee

Date/Time:

03/27/2022
All Day

In honor of the National Day of Racial Healing, CURE will be hosting its second annual 5 Towns 1 Book event in partnership with the Harrison, Larchmont, Mamaroneck, New Rochelle and Rye libraries, LMC Media and many other county-wide sponsors. Last year, this program reached over 1200 people by reading Caste by Isabel Wilkerson, with 6 virtual events around the book and a virtual visit from the author herself. The Pelham library is proud to be a sponsor of the 5 Towns, 1 Book series.

The series will bring Heather McGhee and The Sum of Us: What Racism Costs Us and How We Can Profit Together , in which she supports concrete steps towards racial healing, to the county. Ms. McGhee will be giving an author talk on March 27th in the area at a location to be announced, but you can register in advance by clicking here.
