2nd-Friday Book Club: Everything I Never Told You

This month’s selection is Everything I Never Told You by Celeste Ng. Named Best Book of the Year by multiple publications, this book follows what happens to the Chinese American Lee family after the body of their favorite child, Lydia, is found in a local lake. The publisher’s description describes it as ” … a profoundly moving story of family, secrets, and longing …  both a gripping page-turner and a sensitive family portrait, uncovering the ways in which mothers and daughters, fathers and sons, and husbands and wives struggle, all their lives, to understand one another.”
