"I'll Have What She's Having": The Jewish Deli with the New-York Historical Society

Dec 29
7:15 pm -
8:15 pm

Back by popular demand! Join us for a virtual presentation of the New-York Historical Society’s new exhibit, “I’ll Have What She’s Having”: The Jewish Deli! This presentation explores how Jewish immigrants, mostly from Central and Eastern Europe, imported and adapted traditions to create a uniquely American restaurant and reveals how Jewish delicatessens became a cornerstone of American food culture. This program takes place on Zoom, and registration is required. Please register here. This program is presented in collaboration with the Harrison and Somers Public Libraries.
