Outside Story Time

Join us for our popular story time for infants and toddlers outside on our front lawn. Story time is designed to enhance early literacy skills and features diverse children’s books in which all children can see themselves represented… plus we have a lot of fun! In case of rain or temperatures above 90°, the event will be cancelled. Please call the Library or check our website that morning.
Meet the Presidents with the New-York Historical Society

Discover the evolution of the presidency and executive branch and how presidents have interpreted and fulfilled their leadership role. Highlights include the actual Bible used during George Washington’s inauguration in 1789 and a student scrapbook from 1962 chronicling John F. Kennedy’s leadership during the Cuban Missile Crisis. This program is offered in collaboration with the Mount Pleasant and New Rochelle Public Libraries.
