Crafty Adults Family Online

All ages are invited to make kitted hats out of yarn. You may pick up materials at the library during the week before the event, then join online for instruction from artist Sara Mallach. Registration is required, please use this link to register:

Pelham Quarantine Book Club for Kids: Listen-Along of "Fever 1793"

The children’s Quarantine Book Club will be reading Fever, 1793 by Laurie Halse Anderson, a historical novel based on when yellow fever swept through colonial Philadelphia. Join Mr. Oz for a listen-along of the audio version on Hoopla on Tuesdays and Thursdays or listen/read on your own. Starts Tuesday April 7th at 4 pm via Zoom. Financing a College Education—POSTPONED

Parents, along with high school students preparing for college, should plan on attending this workshop on paying for a college education. The workshop will be run by Scott Ahrens, who serves as Program Administrator of the Student Protection Program at New York State’s Department of Financial Services. His presentation will cover a variety of topics central to financing college, including filling out the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid), grants, scholarships, types of loans, determining the amount of aid you qualify for and helpful New York State programs.
