Engineering for Kids is coming to the Library to show you how to make rockets out of straws. This program is open to kids in kindergarten through grade 2. Attendance is limited to the first 20 children.

Dungeons & Dragons

Teens are invited to come by the Library every Thursday to play this classic game. The first fantasy role-playing game, Dungeon & Dragons is a world where players are the characters in an ongoing story. According to the Dungeons & Dragons website, “The core of D&D is storytelling. You and your friends tell a story together, guiding your heroes through quests for treasure, battles with deadly foes, daring rescues, courtly intrigue, and much more.” Registration is not required.

Identity Theft: What's in Your Wallet?

Worried about identity theft? In this program led by Janet Palazzolo, VP of Residential Services at the Wartburg, you’ll learn new tools to guard your personal information and protect you and your family from identity theft. The session includes tips on what NOT to carry in your wallet and how not to get scammed in today’s fast-paced world. This program is open to teens and up; registration is not required.
