Second Grade Book Club: Elephant and Piggie

Jul 18
4:15 pm -
5:15 pm

During the next session of the Library’s new Second Grade Book Club, participants will discuss Elephant and Piggie — and particularly the theme of friendship between the two characters in this book series written and illustrated by Mo Willems. Kids can choose which book or books in the series they’d like to focus on.

Questions to be discussed will include: What does your book show about Elephant and Piggie’s friendship? Is that important to you in a friendship?

Led by Pelham parent Liselle Sakrhani, the club is for any child who just completed second grade and who likes to read, meet new friends and have fun discussing a good book with others.

To be a part of the club, registration is required by calling the Library at (914) 738-1234. Usually, extra copies of book club titles are available at the circulation desk.
