The 2017 Battle of the Books

This is the date for this year’s Battle of the Books among Westchester Library System libraries. Once again, the Pelham Library will send two teams to this annual competition. Tickets are required for attendance. Interested in being on a future BOB team? Keep an eye out for when players are recruited in the spring.
Chinese-English Story Time

你好 (Ni Hao! – or “Hello” in Chinese.) Chinese-English Story Time is held every other Saturday, alternating with the Library’s Spanish-English Story Time program. Both are intended for any family who would like to introduce their young children to additional languages. This program features Chinese picture books and songs for children, as well as interesting language and cultural activities and all families with children through third grade are welcome. Signup is not required.
