Back by Popular Demand: “I’ll Have What She’s Having”

Our early December presentation was a hit so we have decided to offer this fascinating program again!

Join us on Thursday, December 29th from 7:15-8:15 pm for a virtual presentation of the New-York Historical Society’s new exhibit, “I’ll Have What She’s Having”: The Jewish Deli!

This presentation explores how Jewish immigrants, mostly from Central and Eastern Europe, imported and adapted traditions to create a uniquely American restaurant and reveals how Jewish delicatessens became a cornerstone of American food culture. This program takes place on Zoom, and registration is required. Please register here. This program is presented in collaboration with the the Harrison, Mount Pleasant, and Somers Public Libraries.
