Congrats to our Battle of the Books teams
Congratulations to our two Battle of the Books (BOB) teams that competed in at the eleventh annual competition on October 25 at the Ossining Middle School. Battle of the Books is an all-day book-based trivia tournament for Westchester Youth. The competition format is similar to Jeopardy and questions are based on the 5 books for each age bracket. Both Pelham teams held team practices starting in the summer through the start of the school year. We are so proud of their dedication and how far they have come. The younger team — the Pelham Shelf Slayers — was coached by Librarian Erin Maloney and the older team — The Forbidden Chapters –was led by Librarian Kathy Palovick.
