Saturday, May 11: Find Out What the Treasures in Your Attic Are Worth

Ever wonder if that family heirloom in your attic really is a hidden treasure? Then come to the Library on Saturday, May 11 from 1 – 3 p.m. for its own version of the Antiques Roadshow, as antique experts Helaine Fendelman and Sheri Mason examine and evaluate items from your home. (It’s tempting to bring more, but each person is limited to bringing two items per person.) Even if you don’t have something to bring, come listen to your friends and neighbors share stories about their special possessions. Attendance is first-come, first-served.

Here is more information on the appraisers:

Helaine Fendelman has more than 30 years of experience in the art, antiques and collectibles field and is a member of the Appraisers Association of America. She has written extensively on the subject including more than 14 books.

Sheri Mason is a member of the Appraisers Association of America and holds a Certificate in Fine and Decorative Art Appraisal from NYU.

See you there!
