Adult (and High School) Summer Reading Game Begins June 10!

The reading game for children has been a staple of summers at the Library for years — but why should the kids have all the fun? The Library also has a summer reading game for adults and teens 9th grade and up. Here’s how to play:
1. Stop by the reference desk anytime to register and pick up a BINGO type card (see above). Everyone who registers will receive a Pelham Library drink Koozie, while supplies last.
2. Write down the titles you read this summer between June and Labor Day, in the appropriate boxes and try to get a BINGO by completing a vertical, horizontal or diagonal line. You may not enter the same title in more than one box, and — again — you may not write in books you’ve read previously.
3. Once you have gotten a BINGO, turn in your completed card to the Librarian at the Reference Desk and discuss the books you have read. The deadline to turn in your card is Tuesday, September 3 in order to enter the raffle for a  grand prize — a Kindle E-reader! Second prize is a 40-DVD set of all 236 episodes of the beloved TV show, Friends.
