5 Towns, One Book; “The Sum of Us” by Heather McGhee

5 Towns, One Book; “The Sum of Us” by Heather McGhee

In honor of the National Day of Racial Healing, CURE will be hosting its second annual 5 Towns 1 Book event in partnership with the Harrison, Larchmont, Mamaroneck, New Rochelle and Rye libraries, LMC Media and many other county-wide sponsors, including the Town of Pelham Public Library. Last year, this program reached over 1200 people by reading Caste by Isabel Wilkerson, with 6 virtual events around the book and a virtual visit from the author herself.

This year the series will bring Heather McGhee and The Sum of Us: What Racism Costs Us and How We Can Profit Together, in which she supports concrete steps towards racial healing, to the county. Ms. McGhee will be giving an author talk on March 27th in the area at a location to be announced, but you can register in advance by clicking here.
